Introduction
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking a qualified and motivated employee to fill the position of Administrative Analyst within the Infrastructure Capital Projects Division. This opportunity offers the successful candidate the chance to support key initiatives and contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects across Manitoba.

Duties:
  • Coordinate staffing, position management, and organizational reporting activities.
  • Prepare and analyze reports, staffing documents, and position-related information.
  • Support HR, classification, and administrative processes.
  • Conduct research, prepare correspondence, and assist with special projects.
  • Provide advice and liaison support to management, HR partners, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Essential: 
  • Post-secondary education in administration. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered. 
  • Experience providing administrative, financial, and/or human resource support, including research, analysis, coordination, and reporting. 
  • Experience analyzing and evaluating staffing, workforce, or position management issues. 
  • Effective analytical skills, including the ability to research, interpret, and evaluate information to support management decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects and assignments, and meet competing deadlines. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with diverse individuals, groups, and all levels of management.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Effective written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions in a variety of situations.
  • Knowledge of Public Service Commission policies, staffing practices, labour relations processes, compensation procedures, and collective agreements.

Desired:
  • Experience using SAP Human Resources and/or Finance modules.
