The Manitoba government supports equitable employment practices and promotes representation of designated groups (women, Indigenous people, persons with disabilities, visible minorities).

Employment Equity is a factor in selection for this competition. Consideration will be given to Indigenous people and persons with disabilities.

An eligibility list may be created for similar positions and will remain in effect until exhausted or expired based upon operational requirements.

The Client Services Representative (CSR) is integral to the administration of applications and the provision of information for the Manitoba Student Aid Program (MSAP) and Canada Student Financial Assistance Program (CSFAP).  The CSR’s primary role is to provide direct client service to program applicants and to process the information that is received from applicants and stakeholders. The MSAP provides supplementary needs-based assistance to students pursuing post-secondary education. The program helps clients who would otherwise be unable to pursue higher education due to limited personal resources. The funding provided by the program will supplement, not replace other available resources, and it is guided by a complex set of policies and procedures.
