Duties:
Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure’s mission is to ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure and services for Manitoba and its communities. The Flood Damage Reduction Hydraulic Engineer provides specialized engineering services encompassing hydraulic model development for flow and water level forecasting, flood risk mapping, emergency response, basin conditions monitoring, and infrastructure analysis and design. The Flood Damage Reduction Hydraulic Engineer is also responsible for conducting water management projects and managing and providing guidance on projects assigned to consultants.
