Manitoba Environment and Climate Change is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Watershed Planner within the Water Science and Watershed Management Branch. The successful candidate for this position's work headquarters may be in Winnipeg, Brandon, or other rural locations may be considered.
Duties:
Reporting to the Manager of Watershed Planning and Programs, the incumbent provides resource planning, watershed management, and program-related assistance to watershed districts in Manitoba. The purpose of this position is to assist in the delivery of land and water conservation initiatives including the Watershed Districts Program, Growing Outcomes in Watersheds (GROW), and Integrated Watershed Management Planning in alignment with the Watershed Districts Act and the Water Protection Act.
