Introduction
The Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS) Division is the Manitoba’s central IT team providing information and technology solutions to support government programs and services.  DTS is undergoing a transformation centred on collaboration, information and technology leadership, security, and a whole-of-government approach to enable government departments to provide valuable services to citizens and businesses in a financially responsible, efficient, secure and timely manner.

Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Experience with the financial activities including budgets, cash flow and /or financial reporting. Financial experience related to program or project management is preferred. 
  • Experience with Excel functions related to data tracking and reporting including pivot tables and conditional formatting.
  • Experience leading or supervisoring teams including experience with function such as coaching, mentoring, training and performance management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize workloads to ensure that work is accurate and deadlines are met.
  • Ability to collect, arrange, classify, and analyze data.  
  • Ability to take a proactive approach to problems, generate and analyze solutions options, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to convey technical information to a variety of audiences. 
Desired:
  • Experience with project coordination or project administration.  
  • Experience with creating or managing/administering SharePoint or web based project approval and budgeting systems 
Duties:
The incumbent is responsible to oversee complex administrative work that encompasses tracking and coordination associated with expenditure, budget management, schedule management and communications management essential to the delivery of projects and programs withing portfolio. 

The Senior Project Management Administrator provides expertise and support to all managers in their respective roles. Working independently with minimal supervision, this position is responsible for completing complex tasks necessary for the day to day management of the project delivery tracking process.

The incumbent will oversee, coordinate and lead a group of administrative and clerical staff.
