Manitoba Government is seeking qualified individuals  to join the clerical team in the department of Public Service Delivery.

Duties:
Within the department of Public Service Delivery the Clerk Reports to the District Finance & Administration Officer, and is responsible to provide accounting functions, clerical and administration support to District 4 from the district office in The Pas. District 4 includes properties in the vast northern part of the Province from Swan River to Leaf Rapids. The existing roles and responsibilities in SAP account system are Accounts Payable, Requisitioning, Timekeeping, Program Accounting, Financial Reporting and Receiving in an accurate, timely manner meeting all the Department’s Standards and Policies.
Qualifications:
Essential: 
  • Experience providing clerical and administrative support in an office environment. 
  • Experience with accounting transactions including computerized accounts payable processing and preparing and maintaining financial records.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task within a changing environment.
  • Experience providing superior customer service to the public in person and over the phone.
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). 
  • Strong written communication skills. 
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
  • A Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry Check may be required
