Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Experience providing secretarial and/or administrative support such as: receiving/distributing mail, answering telephone inquiries, photocopying, maintaining office supplies, electronic and manual filing.
  • Experience in preparing various types of correspondence including drafting correspondence, formatting, editing and proofing documents.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and work within tight timelines.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of staff and the general public, both in person and by phone.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment with all levels of staff.
  • Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in French
  • Excellent written communication skills in French
Desired:
  • Completion of an Administrative Office Certificate or recognized secretarial course.
Duties:
The Receptionist receives general direction from the Registrations Supervisor; the incumbent is expected to independently initiate, coordinate and complete all duties as required in an effective, efficient, and expeditious manner.  The incumbent will provide customer service in accordance with established service standards.
