The Government of Manitoba is seeking a knowledgeable and highly skilled leader to fill the position of Secretary/Executive Director to support the Clean Environment Commission as part of the department of Environment, Climate and Parks. The Secretary to the Clean Environment Commission is accountable for the overall operation of the Clean Environment Commission. Provides support, advice and guidance regarding environmental matters, including legislation and policy, technical reviews and information, departmental procedures, and communication to the Chair and commissioners. Liaison with departmental executive and provide advice and guidance to departmental staff and the public on procedural and technical aspects of environmental hearings, investigations and reviews. Provides a point of contact for the public and the media.
