An eligibility list may be established from this competition to fill term and regular positions within various areas of the province (such as The Pas, Gimli, Thompson, Brandon, Neepawa, Lac du Bonnet and Winnipeg). The eligibility list will remain in effect for 12 months.
The Lands and Planning Branch is responsible for land tenure and allocation management, planning, program delivery, and policy on lands administered under the Crown Lands Act. The Crown Land Management Section provides Crown land tenure and allocation expertise and services to clients while working with other governments, Indigenous communities, agencies, industry, and community stakeholders.

The Crown Land Management Specialist is a primary contact for client inquires relating to the use and occupancy of lands administered under the Crown Lands Act and is responsible to develop and implement operational policies and deliver programs and initiatives related to branch and department priorities. The position responsibilities are complex, requiring a high degree of critical thinking, analytical and emotional intelligence skills to collaborate, foster relations and make sound management recommendations.
