Shared Health is looking for Service Workers to join our team. Selkirk Mental Health Centre (SMHC) is a 252-bed facility that provides specialized inpatient mental health and acquired brain injury treatment and rehabilitation services through five specialized patient programs: Acute, Geriatric, Rehabilitation, Forensic and Acquired Brain Injury. Service Workers provide services to patients, staff and community partners of Selkirk Mental Health Centre including: a clean environment, food service, porter/laundry services, supply replenishment, equipment maintenance, transportation and security. Support Service Workers demonstrate a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of SMHC including a strong commitment to patient safety.
This is a unionized position. As a result of The Health Sector Bargaining Unit Review Act, the bargaining agent for this position may differ from the Union identified in your collective agreement. In the event you have any questions, please contact your site Human Resources Department.
