The Executive Director - Youth, provides leadership and oversight to youth specific initiatives within Justice while collaborating with numerous other Departments and agencies working within a whole of government approach.
Youth specific initiatives will include (but not be limited to) the following: Youth Review Stream 1 & 2, Cross Department Training Development and Case Management Delivery, Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth (MACY), Mental Health and Addictions (MHA),Social Impact Bond (SIB) initiatives, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

The Executive Director - Youth, represents the Division on inter-jurisdictional matters, including federal / provincial / territorial working groups and meetings with community organizations. Providing leadership, strategic planning, program standards and evaluation and financial accountability is a key component of this position.
This position develops and maintains ongoing working relationships with diverse contacts to effectively manage operations and program functions, within a unionized environment. The Executive Director - Youth, organizes and enhances the Divisions capabilities within existing fiscal and human resource allocations, along with supporting program initiatives within Government, as well as, with Community partners towards achieving the desired outcomes.
