Duties:
Under general supervision of the Food Services Supervisor, the Food Services Worker performs a variety of tasks involved in providing the meal program within housing facilities managed by Manitoba Housing. Some of the duties include preparing and serving meals, cleaning eating area, utensils and equipment, driving and delivering meals and catering items, ordering and re-stocking supplies and maintaining basic records related to the operation of the meal programs. Although independence of action is exercised in the performance of the duties assigned, a high level of cooperation is required in working with the building’s Tenant Association, meal program committee and program volunteers.
