Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Liaison Officer for funded independent schools and Manitoba affiliated schools overseas. The Liaison Officer monitors and supports a pool of funded independent schools and Manitoba affiliated schools overseas, and works closely with a variety of individuals and organizations involved in the operation of these schools to support the educational outcomes of students in these settings. The Liaison Officer monitors compliance with applicable legislative, regulatory, departmental policy and affiliation agreement requirements for Manitoba funded independent schools and affiliated schools overseas, conducts on-site visits, and acts as a resource in providing advice and/or workshops on school organization and management, curriculum implementation, teacher certification, and other matters concerning education administration. The Liaison Officer also contributes to policy development related to independent and international education.
