Duties:
The Bilingual EIA Financial Worker functions as a member of a case management team responsible for providing Employment and Income Assistance program services. The incumbent communicates regularly with clients, agencies and other stakeholders by telephone, in writing or in person. The incumbent calculates, processes, and issues benefits in accordance with the Employment and Income Assistance Act, Regulations and policies. The incumbent reviews, recommends, orders and/or authorizes expenditures for emergency, health and/or special needs and home & minor repairs submitted by clients. The incumbent enters electronic data for clients’ budgets, pays bills, maintains client confidentiality and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
