The Proposal Review Coordination Unit is looking to fill two (2) full-time regular positions at the Planning and Program Analyst 3 (PM3) level through this competition.

The Proposal Review Coordination Unit (PRCU) was established to lead the implementation and sustainment of the department's proposal review process (PRP). The PRCU is a unit of the Management Services Branch.

  • Post-secondary education in management/business or public administration. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Duties:

The incumbent serves as one of two key planning and program analysts for coordinating the department's due diligence review process for a broad range of funding proposals. This includes, for all aspects of the proposal review process, responsibility for research, review, and analysis; program evaluation and knowledge transfer; and project management. The incumbent carries out difficult and complex planning assignments, and provides strategic advice to the Director of the Unit. Assignments are carried-out under minimal direction and the work is evaluated on the basis of results produced and objectives attained. The incumbent works with management and staff across the entire Department, as well as with regional health authorities and other key stakeholders.
