Qualifications:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours periodically, as required.
Essential
- Post secondary education in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Extensive experience using Esri ArcGIS software and technology and ArcGIS Online.
- Extensive experience managing large and complex database(s) including database design, maintenance, and administration.
- Experience in program or project management.
- Knowledge of spatial data infrastructure including server architecture, software, workflows and governance.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to work independently with a high degree of initiative.
Desired
- GIS Professional (GISP) certification.
