Duties:
Reporting to the Director, the Manager, Programs Administration is responsible for providing management and leadership in the implementation, development and delivery of the department’s external client-based programs and initiatives. The incumbent makes recommendations to Senior Management, as it relates to the development of program implementation and delivery. The incumbent leads and supports the strategic plans for the development and implementation of programs related to the advancement of a profitable and sustainable industry. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the administrative processes and managing the resource requirements. The incumbent supervises staff of multiple disciplines to administer programs effectively for clients according to government standards in grant management and client service. The incumbent leads and manages the implementation of federal and provincial grant funding agreements to further departmental priorities.
