This competition may be used to establish an eligibility list to fill current and future regular full-time positions within Eastern, Northern and Western regions, subject to staffing approval. The eligibility list will remain in effect for 6 months.

The successful candidate will work from the Western Region locations of  Brandon and Dauphin 

As a member of the Department of Families management team, the Regional Director is responsible to lead and manage services to adults living with an intellectual disability (Community Living disABILITY Services), children with disabilities (Children’s disABILITY Services) and income supports (Employment and Income Assistance) and provides advice and support to the Executive Director for Regional Social Services. This position acts as the final line of decision-making related to critical program and operational decisions.  

Conditions of Employment:

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

• Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector search, Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check
• Must have a valid driver's licence, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba on government business
