Under direction of the Regional Wildlife Section Manager, the Regional Wildlife Manager is responsible for the management of wildlife within an assigned region of Manitoba. This position plans, coordinates, organizes and supervises regional wildlife research and management programs. The incumbent will also assist in the development and delivery of all wildlife programming including commercial wildlife allocation, wildlife habitat assessment, wildlife disease, population monitoring, season setting and non-game management.This position also requires the incumbent to manage the performance of regional wildlife staff, identify training needs, provide access to training and identify career path aspirations and opportunities.
