Corporate Services and Program Management provides leadership and management services to the Courts Division, Department of Justice. These services include, financial and administrative services, support to client programs responsible for the enforcement of court orders, provide specialized training, work force planning, and performance management expertise, in support of court program managers. Additional activities include, planning, directing and controlling the development and delivery of all corporate management services, as well as collaborating in the development and evaluation of information technology applications of the Courts Division, which includes, coordinating the implementation of legislation, and new or revised court programs or policies.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Courts Division, this position is responsible for the direction and management of the Workforce Planning and Policy Development Unit of the Courts Division. The Director is accountable for legislative, policy, program and operational initiatives at both the corporate and program levels by planning and leading complex assignments, often involving various justice system stakeholders, including the judiciary. This includes the design and implementation of projects that evaluate the viability, effectiveness and efficiency of existing and proposed legislation, policies, programs and services. In cooperation with policy analysts of the Unit, the Director manages significant legislative projects such as new acts and regulations or major amending legislation. The Director also manages policy analyses and special projects for the development of new or existing programs and policies of Courts Division.
