Consumer Protection and Government Services is seeking a highly motivated Learning and Development Officer.

Duties:
Reporting to the Director of the Operations Branch of Asset Management Division, this position is responsible for the planning, development, administration and evaluation of the training and development plans for the staff within the Operations Branch. This position also provides support and services for other business areas within Consumer Protection and Government Services as required and requested. In consultation with the management team, this position develops and coordinates training sessions for staff located throughout Manitoba, which includes but is not limited to: safety, professional development, corporate initiatives, and policies. The Learning and Development Officer is also responsible for overseeing a training database to ensure that personnel in a variety of classifications are receiving appropriate required, legislated and mandatory training for the positions in which they are employed. The Learning and Development Officer conducts research and incorporates trends and data into recommended training and learning development and presents to management recommended changes or enhancements.
