Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources is seeking a qualified and skilled individual to fill the Wildlife and Fish Technician position in Lac du Bonnet.

Duties:
Under the supervision of the Regional Wildlife Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for the Wildlife and Fisheries Management programs in the Eastern region. Wildlife programs include surveys related to wildlife habitat assessments and population monitoring, particularly for species at risk files (e.g. caribou). Fisheries programs will include fish stock assessments, fish stocking, creel surveys, and lake sturgeon tagging programs.
