The Legislative Counsel Division is responsible for drafting, translating and publishing the laws of Manitoba. It also provides legislative and parliamentary translation services to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba through the Legislative and Parliamentary Translation Branch. Duties:
The position requires the performance of complex and specialized administrative and managerial work involving a high degree of initiative and responsibility in planning and directing activities. The position is responsible for ensuring the office operates effectively and efficiently by managing day-to-day operations.
The position requires working in close collaboration with the Chief Legislative Counsel and Assistant Deputy Minister and the Executive Director as well as supervising a team of legal assistants under pressure to adhere to strict deadlines.
