Reporting to the Regional Warehouse Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for daily maintenance and service of the fire equipment.  This will include weekly inventory, shipping, receiving and delivering to the Districts and Regions.  

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must be physically capable of performing the duties such as moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends on short notice.
  • Must possess and maintain a full valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s Licence or equivalent. 

Qualifications:
Essential:

  • Experience in outdoor work or recreation involving manual labour and/or physical activity.
  • Experience in the use and maintenance of small engine equipment, camping gear and power tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
Desired:
  • Experience in a warehouse or retail store setting.

Duties:
The incumbent will be repsonsible for the maintenance of fire equipment and buildings.  Will be responsible with shipping and receiving of inventory and provide Wildfire suppression support.. Other duties as assigned.
