The Senior Shoreline Management Engineer provides geotechnical support, advice, and guidance related to riverbank and shoreline works in the Province of Manitoba. This position also chairs and manages the Shoreline Erosion Technical Committee (SETC) to provide services province-wide, and designs and integrates multi-disciplinary technical inputs for projects in which riverbank and shoreline erosion mitigation and/or stabilization may be required. The Senior Shoreline Management Engineer reviews applications for shoreline and riverbank developments and assesses the geotechnical components of the new developments related to designated flood areas, provincial waterway works, Water Management Engineering and Construction (WME&C) design standards and Manitoba Parks policies.
