Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) is currently looking to fill several full-time departmental positions in the following maintenance yards: Altona MB, Beausejour MB, Birds Hill MB, Carman MB, Elie MB, Elm Creek MB, Hadashville MB, Headingley MB, Lorette MB, Lowe Farm MB, Morden MB, Sanford MB, Selkirk MB, Steinbach MB, St. Norbert MB, St. Pierre MB, Warren MB, West Hawk MB, Teulon MB, and Dominion City MB.
In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, MTI offers a comprehensive orientation and training program that includes support in attaining a Class 3 license.
New employees are hired as Labourers (LAB: $37,941 - $40,612) and promoted to the Operator (OR1-4: $41,051 to $49,023) series once training, orientation, and proficiency-testing milestones are met.

Duties:
Maintenance Workers (MW's) report to the Area Works Supervisor and receive lead hand direction from the Assistant Works Supervisor. MW's operate and maintain maintenance equipment, small hand and power tools, and perform physical maintenance work associated with highway maintenance activities to ensure the safety of workers and the travelling public while maintaining public infrastructure.
